Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files the platform stores in your browser. They let a page remember basic information between requests — for example that you are signed in or which language you chose.

The platform uses strictly necessary cookies only — without them sign-in and language switching would not work. We use no analytics, statistics or marketing cookies and we do not track your behaviour across sites.

Because strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, we show no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

better-auth.session_token — keeps you signed in. Lifetime: about 7 days.

better-auth.session_data — a short-lived session cache for faster page loads. Lifetime: about 5 minutes.

better-auth.state and a verification (PKCE) cookie — set only during Google sign-in to protect that login. Lifetime: a few minutes; they expire once sign-in completes.

NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your chosen language (cs/en/ru/pl/ro/uk/sk). Lifetime: about 1 year.

Over a secure (HTTPS) connection the authentication cookie names may carry a "__Secure-" prefix.

We set no third-party cookies ourselves. The only exception is when you choose to sign in with a Google account — during that login Google may set its own cookies on its domains. This processing is governed by Google's own policies.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings — usually under "Privacy and security". Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all let you view and remove cookies; see your browser's help for details.

Note that blocking necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and some platform features will stop working.
